Welcome
to Peinmore House by Portree
Peinmore House was built in
the 19th Century originally as a Church of Scotland manse and passed
into private ownership in the 1930's. Set in 2 acres of grounds
on the outskirts of Portree, it enjoys panoramic views of the Cullins to the
South, Storr Rocks, The Old Man of Storr and Portree Bay to the North and Ben
Tianavaig to the East.
Peinmore House is owned by Don and Margaret Greer and provides spacious
and modern accommodation in a house full of character with many interesting
features both inside and out. The walled garden, derelict and neglected
until 2005, is now under reconstruction and is already repaying many
hours work over the Autumn and Winter.
